Myra Harris had a beautiful childhood in the state of Mississippi and moved to California in September 1991. Myra loved experimenting with her hair and trying out new styles. She got her last relaxer done in 2004; from 2004 to June 2012, she wore bone-straight pressed hair and weave. Myra is an avid reader and she learned about the benefits of having natural hair and decided to embark on a new journey- the one with natural hair. But by this time, the damage was already done. Her hair started to shred and become thin day by day. She avoided exposing her hair to harsh chemicals, stopped wearing weaves, and chose to braid her hair instead. 

This went on for about two years. Myra experienced excessive hair loss during her braiding process and had unfortunately developed Traction Alopecia on one side of her scalp. But by end of 2012, things took turn for the worse. She developed several unforeseen health issues and ended up at the derma clinic numerous times. Ultimately, this culminated with Myra having to have major surgery in May 2014. Her recovery was slow and steady. Myra knew there was more and decided to take matters into her own hands by changing what goes into her body. She adopted a healthy lifestyle that included exercise, organic health food, and healthy products for her hair and skin. 

As her symptoms subsided, Myra's confidence grew. She resumed her natural hair journey again. She made a bold move by "ditching" her braids and getting a "Big Chop". She went on to keep her hair short for about a year and a half to even out the severe hair shedding and unevenness of her hair growth. On the brighter side, she learned to appreciate her health, but also the versatility of her kinky, coily, and curly hair. She developed patience, love, and a passion for her natural hair. She immersed herself in learning about natural hair, hair and skin products, and organic products that she could use in place of human-made products for the hair and skin. In this journey, she thought to herself that hair grows naturally out of one's body but unfortunately, natural hair and wearing it naturally is foreign to too many women of color. 

But this motivated her to develop her exclusive natural line of hair care and skincare products that will work on any hair type. In addition, the products have extra ingredients that are realized by natural hair. She further went on to educate people about taking care of their own hair. 

Myra received appreciation for her products from her near and dear ones. She started consulting people who were clueless and initiating their hair care journey. She would also develop a hair and skin product that is tailor as per her customer’s needs. Presently, these consultations are coveted and highly sought after, as she only has a limited number of these per month.

Apart from helping people in taking care of their hair and skin, Myra also works as an Operations Manager in the Medical Field. She has a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with an emphasis in Marketing from National University. She has also worked as an Education Consultant for many colleges and universities. Helping people look and feel better comes naturally to her. She loves inspiring clients, friends, and families to embrace their natural beauty!
